Jordan Petersen-Fitts


Jordan Petersen-Fitts' experience in dance includes performer, teacher,choreographer, and studio owner. She was trained by her mother, Beverly Petersen-Fitts at Cuyahoga Falls Dance Center. Her ballet training was with Nan Klinger and the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet. Her youth ballet experience culminated with a performance in Switzerland, appearing in Carnival of the Animals.


At Kent State University, Jordan majored in dance performance, performed in faculty concerts, choreographed for the Student Dance Festival, and was a member of the Kent State Dance Team. She was also an active member of Delta Zeta Sorority as the internal philanthropy chairperson.


After graduating magna cum laude, she taught at area dance studios and worked for Reach Out and Dance (R.O.A.D.). In 2009 she attended The National Dance Institute of New Mexico's Teaching Excellence Workshop.


She is co-owner of Cuyahoga Falls Dance Center. Jordan is also a founder of a dance outreach program ArtSparks, founded in 2012.
